Janelle Ruth Pietrzak

I am a Los Angeles-based fashion and lifestyle photographer. I specialize in producing travel-oriented, location-based, photoshoots.

I have worked with renowned brands including Tiare Hawaii, Laurel Dewitt, Lululemon, Monica Hansen Beachwear, Aviator Nation, Rey Swimwear, and Visual Mood.

My photographs have been published by leading fashion publications, including Harper’s Bazaar, PhotoVogue, Solstice, Vulcan, Lucy’s, C-Heads, and Volant.

Originally from Aspen, Colorado, I grew up ski racing, hiking, and riding horses. I hold a BFA in Photography and a BA in Film Studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder, as well as an AA in Fashion Production from FIDM.

My travels have taken me to over 30 countries and led to time spent living abroad in Nepal, Mexico, and Italy. I spend my free time surfing, snowboarding, hiking, roller-skating, riding horses, and learning languages such as Spanish and Italian.
